Hey Everyone,
Thanks so much for the comments!
I don't have any time or materials to add pictures to this update, sorry :(
We just left the island of Koh Chang for the final time. It was tough. We were able to spend the last two days with all of the villagers. Last night we played The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in thai, and they loved it. And tonight we showed a slideshow that Alisha and Rodney compiled of photos from over the last 3 months, and they loved it up.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to check my internet until I'm stateside again. But hopefully I can update this with a lot more pictures at that point. If I can check the net in Bangkok or Korea, I will try to update more.
So all of the homes are built on the island, and they just finished a shed for the generator. Next I believe a team is coming in to help with their other needs, to fix up the island, and build the church on the hill. Keep praying for the island!
It has been so great to build the relationships we have, and was sad to leave. Most everyone recognizes each other, and knows each other by names, after working together for so long. It's a very stark contrast to the way things were when the first team came to the island.
Anyway, yes. Things are well. I'll try to update some more soon. As for us, our work is completed at Koh Chang. Tomorrow we drive down to Phuket, then fly to Bangkok. We will then fly to Korea in a couple days and attend the CM2007 conference! So pray for that as well :)
Thanks for everything!!!

To Phuket and Back Again...
Hey everyone!
I want to see more comments...if you don't have an account, it's easy to make one with google. I'd like to know if anyone is even seeing this or to tell me how you are doing or what you want to see on here :)
I hope all of you are getting the newsletter, it has a lot more info than I can give, but I'll try to update you with some more pictures! I didn't have as much time to upload pictures, so there's not as many good ones as I would have liked...but hopefully this will give you a taste of the adventure we're having.

Ko Phi Phi, we took a day trip from Phuket to here, snorkeled and walked around. It's from the movie "The Beach".

Ronald McDonald is culturally adaptable.

Phuket market at Night.

Our view while taking an elephant ride in Phuket.

Beachside restaurant.

Me at Ko Phi Phi Don

The Viking Caves

The Beach.

A bamboo restaurant we stopped at.

Joel at the Tsunami Memorial beach.

That looks like a heart.

Rodney and me at one of the shipwrecked boats a mile inland.

The team at another shipwrecked boat even further inland.

The ice cream place we ate at an hour ago.

Here's one of the knock-downs we are building at the pier. We had to dig holes, level cement rings, mix and fill them with cement, and then build the foundation on top. Good times had by all. Oh yeah, it's hot in Thailand.

Simba!
Or just one of the many ugly puppies that swarm our worksite.

Gho Mein. He cut his foot really bad, and stayed with us one night and we all watched Shrek. For more info, check out the newsletter.

The team at the baby elephant show in Phukett.
Our trip is beginning to wind down. We have another week on the island, and we're hoping to show the Chronicles of Narnia to the kids, as well as help build the steps up the hill for the upcoming church. After that we head to Bangkok, and then to Korea.
Thanks for everything! Keep me updated.
God bless.
